What If It Isn’t What It Is?

What If It Isn’t What It Is?

They say, “It is what it is.”
They shrug, as if that phrase is the end of the conversation. As if reality is a fixed, immovable thing.

They insist, “That’s not how it’s done here.”
They nod in agreement with each other, reinforcing rules they never wrote but blindly follow.

But I have to ask—Who decided that?
Who was the first person to declare that this is the way things should be? And why do we keep obeying without question?

What if everything you assume is set in stone is actually open to change?

What if “it is what it is” is just a convenient excuse for staying stuck?

What if it isn’t what it is? What if it’s just what we’ve been taught to believe?

And if we’ve been taught to believe it, can we unlearn it?

The world moves forward because someone, somewhere, refused to accept the status quo. Every breakthrough, every revolution, every shift in consciousness began with someone who looked at what was and said, This isn’t the only way.

So, I’ll ask again—what if it isn’t what it is? What if it’s time to see it differently?

And what if, by seeing it differently, you change everything?
